THE STORY
The spiral turns back toward where it started and never quite arrives. Neither do you. Every version of you that led here still moves through the curve, even the ones you've outgrown. Small pearls hang from the edge like drops caught mid-fall, each one grown from something that once irritated it. It keeps turning, and so do you.

This shape shows up everywhere on its own. Nautilus shells, fern fronds unfurling, pinecones, sunflower centers, hurricanes, the arms of entire galaxies, the same curve keeping the same proportion as it grows outward. Over centuries, we as humans kept noticing it, and kept carving it, in Ireland, Crete, the American Southwest, Japan, cultures with no contact with each other reaching for the same shape.
Pearls form the same way, slowly. An oyster meets something that doesn't belong, an irritant it can't remove, and answers by coating it in layer after layer of nacre until what once caused damage becomes the most valuable part of the whole.
